How can we understand animal communication?

The concept of animal communication holds a mystical aura. The idea of speaking with other species is the stuff of legend and fairytale, but we have all had moments when we knew our animal friends were telling us something, without moving a muscle, but speaking through their hearts. Animal communication is communication between and within species outside our Western idea of reality. Animals of all species, including humans, are capable of telepathic or psychic communication. All species I have experience with are vastly more capable of this than most humans. They are also considerably more observant than human beings. The ability of other species to judge our emotional state, health, and intentions is enhanced, but by no means reliant on their exceptional senses of smell, sight, and hearing. Other species often " listen " and respond to our internal dialogue. They understand our spoken words far better than we recognize, but always couple the words we say out loud with our heart’s intention and emotional state. Especially among adult animals, I find they realize that we humans often don’t understand our truth. They know we say things we hope to be accurate, but are far from sure.

How does it work?

I communicate with animals of all species telepathically. Usually, working with a photo of the subject and their name, I quiet my mind and fill my heart with love before I reach out with my intention to communicate. Other species are emotionally intelligent and communicate through sharing their emotions, internal images (I “see” pictures in my mind’s eye), physical feelings, thoughts, and words. If I question an answer, image, idea, or emotion I have received, I focus on my body. A physical feeling of expansion or a sense of love or joy indicates “yes,” and I can continue. A physical sensation of contraction, fear, or sadness suggests “no,” I must re-examine my analysis of the message. I also use these same indicators to judge answers for my animal clients. If the answer to my question is “yes,” I feel an opening, an expansion; if the answer is “no,” there is a closing, a tightening in my mind or body. My communication ability is a skill that strengthens with practice.

Although they may avoid questions they are not comfortable with, and it’s not uncommon for an animal to refuse to review abusive experiences of the past, most animal companions are eager for a chance to talk with their owners. Playful deception and occasional stubborn derailment aside, other species usually communicate beautifully and honestly.

How to prepare for a session

One of the most helpful things you can do to prepare for our session is to talk with your animal friend about who I am, what I do, and especially, what you would like to accomplish in our conversation. You can do this through silent thought, out loud, in person, or from a distance.

I like to work with a few recent photos of the animal I will be talking with. Because I connect spiritually, this can help me ensure I speak with the animal you have in mind, not your long-passed and beloved childhood pet or a chatty animal neighbor. Photos help me connect to the energetic field of your animal friend.

I am not a medical professional and have no professional training in human or animal medicine, but I possess some level of "medical sight" and have been able to suggest courses of investigation for chronic pain and illness successfully. A photo of an animal's entire body and an additional image of their face can help with this.
